Welcome to Hoghton Parish Council
Hoghton is a small village and civil parish in the Borough of Chorley, Lancashire, England. It has a population of just over 800 and approximately 350 households. Also within the parish are the hamlets of Riley Green and Hoghton Bottoms.
The villages of Gregson Lane and Coupe Green are occasionally described as in Hoghton, they are outside of Hoghton, forming the ward of Coupe Green and Gregson Lane in the South Ribble district; as such they do not come under the remit of Hoghton Parish Council.
